More Faces At Tianzifang

There were numerous vendors wedges in between the cafes and restaurants at Tianzifang selling souvenirs, toys, accessories and anything and everything in between. I saw this table laden with what looked like colorful playing cards in boxes. Stopped down to get a better angle and the lady manning the store tried to shoo me away with a hanger. Funny because it added some dynamic and balance to the image which I liked even more. I still don’t get it when vendors stop you from taking pictures of their wares. Are they afraid you might copy their designs? It didn’t really seem like they were proprietary to the store or even originals. Don’t they appreciate the free advertising their stores get when people publish it on social media? You would think pictures (hopefully) increase the anticipation of travelers and tourists who see these images which give them an idea of what to expect. Old school versus new school way of thinking I guess. BTW, I’ll be off for a couple of weeks for some vacay time with the family. Should be exciting as we’ll be going to the USA together for the first time with the kids. Hopefully, I get some quality shooting time as well šŸ™‚
