Trajan’s Column

Trajan's Column

After shooting around the monument of Vittorio Emanuele, we just meandered around the area and I came across this sight. I liked how the column was arranged with those majestic trees. One of the things I liked about shooting at night in Rome is that there was no one around except for our group. We basically had the place to ourselves and I could stop and set up a tripod anywhere I wanted.

We’re headed for some R&R in the next few days. The rains haven’t let up but as the saying goes, a rainy day out-of-town beats a sunny day at the office. I’m bringing my camera along to finally get it out the drybox after being in hibernation for 3 months 🙂
