The Gentle Beachcomber

The Gentle Beachcomber

I chanced upon this nice lady one early morning while meandering through the flats looking for images. She was just looking for clams and shellfish as was the usual exercise in every place you have tidal flats exposed during low tide. I struck up a conversation and we both agreed that filling up a small bucket with delicious clams used to take just 20 minutes unlike now where you’d be lucky to have one bucket for the whole morning. I loved how the early morning light illuminated her skirt. Just one of those beautiful early mornings at the beach.
