The baptistry at Pisa or Battistero di San Giovanni is the round structure you see at one end of the main church. It’s a beautiful structure and once you get inside, you’ll marvel at how the acoustics are beautifully rendered since sound waves bounce from wall to wall within the round chamber. While I was upstairs taking this, one of the guides accompanying a group told everyone to keep quiet and proceeded to render a song in soprano. Her voice was eerily bouncing around and it was surreal. I was mesmerized and hung around hoping for some more but no joy.
