The Fountain

The Fountain

Italians put a premium on having fresh, potable water available to anyone. If I recall my history classes, even as far back as the early Roman era, water cisterns and ample distribution aqueducts to populated areas were engineered and maintained properly. You can also find the most beautiful fountains in Italy ranging from the famous Trevi in Rome to small ones such as this. Oh, and the water in these fountains is perfectly safe to drink.
